Hello!
My name is Meghan, and I am the owner and main photographer of Meghan Southern Photography. Meghan Southern Photography is a Wedding and Portraiture on location studio specializing in making brides feel glamorous on their big day. Every bride has a unique story, and it's my job as a photographer to capture all those things that make each bride and couple unique. At Meghan Southern Photography, It is my goal to ensure that each bride has a happy, fun, and stress free day! I have grown up organizing, planning, and scheduling my own life, so making beautiful images on the tight schedule of a wedding day is something I specialize in. 

My Story

Meghan Southern Photography was something I created in high school. I took my first photography class in 10th grade and fell in love immediately. I continued taking as many photography classes as I possibly could throughout high school, and began photographing engagement and family sessions in 11th grade and fell in love with photographing people. As a senior in high school, I made the decision to pursue photography as a career and chose to attend Appalachian State University to major in Commercial Photography. As a graduate of the AppState Commercial Photography program I feel as though I have learned so many things that have allowed me to grow and develop as a photographer!
